Witnesses sought to thefts from Woolworths Bonner and Mawson

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a male and female involved in thefts from both the Mawson and Bonner Woolworths Supermarkets.

About 5.40pm on Saturday, 24 February 2018, a male and female entered Woolworths, Bonner and placed items into backpacks including baby formula and vitamins, and left without making payment. The offenders fled in a blue sedan.

The male offender is described as having tattoos on his face and body with cuts on his face. He was wearing shorts, a singlet, a cap and sunglasses.

The female offender was wearing a blue shirt and leggings. On both occasions her red dyed hair was worn in a ponytail.

About 1:39pm on Saturday, 10 March 2018, the same male and female have entered Woolworths, Mawson and placed items into a suitcase, including baby formula and vitamins. They left without making payment.

While leaving the premises, the male threatened a staff member with a knife before both offenders fled in a black BMW sedan. 

ACT Policing is investigating the circumstances surrounding these incidents.
