ACT Policing is seeking assistance from the public to identify a man involved in an aggravated robbery of the North Lyneham Mini Mart on Saturday, 17 March 2018.

About 12.40pm, a man entered the shop on Colville Street, where he threatened the cashier with a kitchen knife and demanded cash.

The cashier handed over money from the register, and the man left on foot, crossing Cossington Smith Drive in the direction of Ginninderra Drive.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 165-170cm (5’5” to 5’7”) tall and of skinny build with dark brown hair just above shoulder-length and a thin moustache.

He was wearing a ‘Red Bull Racing’ brand cap, a black jacket with white stripes on the cuffs and waistband, black trousers or jeans and black sneakers. The man was carrying a black and grey backpack.

ACT Policing are urging members of the public to view CCTV of the incident, available on the ACT Policing website, policenews.act.gov.au

Police are urging anyone who may be able to identify the offender or who has any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au.
