Witnesses sought to collision on Federal Highway

ACT Policing is seeking information, witnesses or dash-cam footage of a collision that occurred late yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, 31 July 2019) on the Federal Highway, Watson.

About 4:15pm a utility and a bicycle collided in the city-bound lanes of the Federal Highway, near the intersection with Old Well Station Road.

The cyclist was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

Police want to speak with three drivers who stopped and assisted the cyclist immediately after the collision, but left the scene prior without speaking to police. It is believed that they may have vital information about the collision.
