Witnesses sought to brass theft

ACT Policing is investigating the theft of brass material from Acton earlier this week.

Between Wednesday morning (8 August, 2018) and Thursday afternoon (9 August, 2018), the brass material was taken from Henry Rolland Park on Barrine Drive, Acton, near Commonwealth Avenue.

The brass was removed from seats, bins, bubblers and bollards in the park.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area or saw anything suspicious at the time of the alleged theft, and also anyone who may have dash cam footage of the area at the time.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference P1676257. Information can be provided anonymously.
