Witnesses sought to Braddon robbery

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the aggravated robbery of a small supermarket in Braddon yesterday (Tuesday 2 June).

About 6pm, a man threatened a staff member of the shop on Lowana Street with a knife, demanding cash. The victim complied and the offender fled towards direction Northbourne Avenue.

The man was described as being of Caucasian appearance, tall with a slim build and wearing a maroon/purple hooded jumper with a face covering and sunglasses.

ACT Policing and AFP Forensic Service attended the scene. During the incident the offender dropped an empty bag, which was seized by police for forensic examination.

ACT Policing is investigating and seeking to obtain CCTV footage.
