Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Macquarie

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred at the Coles supermarket on Bowman Street, Macquarie last night (Wednesday 14 February 2018).

About 11.20pm, two people entered the store and made demands for cash. Staff complied and a sum of money was stolen. No one was harmed during the incident.

They were wearing dark clothing and their faces were covered.

The alleged offenders were last seen in a dark coloured sedan travelling on Bowman Street towards Redfern Street.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
