UPDATE: Police seeking public’s assistance to locate stolen vehicle

UPDATE: Police located the vehicle on Cotter Road, Wright.

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate a stolen silver Ford Falcon sedan (ACT Registration YGJ43X).

About 9.30am on Friday, 9 February 2018, police received a report the vehicle was seen at the Woolworths Caltex petrol station in Lanyon.

About 10.30am, it is alleged the vehicle was involved in a petrol drive off at the Woolworths Caltex petrol station in Erindale.

About 11.55am, police received a report of the vehicle at Cooleman Court, Weston. The occupants of the vehicle were allegedly involved in an assault.

Police believe the vehicle was stolen from Philip on Thursday, 8 February 2018.

Members of the community are urged not to approach the vehicle or its occupants, but to call police on 131 444.

Police are urging anyone who has seen the vehicle, witnesses any of the incidents or have dash-cam footage to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
