UPDATE Police seek witnesses to roadside assault in Narrabundah

Yesterday we sought the public’s assistance regarding an alleged roadside assault in Narrabundah on 18 June. A person is currently assisting police with enquiries and investigations are ongoing. Thank you Canberra!

ACT Policing is appealing for witnesses to an alleged roadside assault in Narrabundah on Tuesday (18 June 2019).

Between 6:10pm and 6:20pm, a white coloured Audi Q7 station wagon and gold coloured Volkswagen Golf were driving north along the Monaro Highway, Symonston.

The male drivers of both vehicles stopped near the intersection of Canberra Avenue and the Monaro Highway (down ramp) and they were then involved in a physical altercation.

After the incident, the driver of the Audi station wagon left the area heading towards Fyshwick.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police, including dash-cam footage of the vehicles or men at the roadside, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6408059. Information can be provided anonymously.
