UPDATE Police seek public assistance to locate stolen vehicles FOUND

Earlier today (Friday, 13 October 2023), we sought the public's assistance in locating three vehicles that were suspected to be stolen. 

Police can confirm all three vehicles have now been located.

ACT Policing is calling on information from the public to locate three suspected stolen vehicles.    

About 11am today (Friday, 13 October 2023), police responded to reports of three vehicles traveling together in the Belconnen region, where the occupants of the vehicles appears to be scouting residences to commit offences.    

Police responded and observed the vehicles, however lost sight of them a short time later.    

About 12.10pm in Kaleen, a group of four boys who matched the description of those in the vehicles were located on foot and arrested.    

Police believe the vehicles have been abandoned in the surrounding area, and are calling on information from the public to locate them.    

The vehicles are a white Volkswagen bearing ACT registration YKL33X, a grey BMW bearing ACT registration YMO26J, and a blue Subaru bearing ACT rego YPT35Z.    

Members of the public in Kaleen, Lawson, and surrounding suburbs are asked to check drive ways, car ports, and public parking in apartment and townhouse complexes for the vehicles.
