UPDATE: Police seek public assistance to locate missing person James Thornton

ACT Policing has located the body of missing person James Thornton.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to locate missing 32-year-old man James Thornton, also known as Casey.

Casey was last seen at about 3am today (Sunday, 17 December 2017) in Torrens.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 175-180cm (5’9”-5’11”) tall, medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black jeans, a grey rain jacket with blue trim, and black Nike shoes.

Police and Casey’s family have serious concerns for his wellbeing and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.
