UPDATE Police seek to identify witness to bottle shop robbery IDENTIFIED

ACT Policing is seeking to identify a man who witnessed a Bonner bottle shop robbery earlier this year.  

About 7.00pm on Friday, 12 April 2024, three boys ran into the BWS bottle shop on Mabo Boulevard, Bonner before allegedly stealing a large quantity of alcohol.    

Police understand the man attempted to prevent one of the boys leaving the shop, resulting in a short struggle.   

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a medium build, brown hair, and a beard. He was wearing a green t-shirt, black pants, and thongs at the time of the incident.  

Police would like to speak to the man regarding the incident, or anyone who can identify the man, noting he is not a suspect and is not in any trouble.
