UPDATE: Gill has been found safe and well.

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance in locating missing 17-year-old Gill Bennetts.

Gill was last seen last seen standing out the front of Canberra College at 1pm today (Thursday, 8 February 2018).

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 170cm (5’7”) tall, dark hair, with a slim build. He was wearing a blue coloured hat, a grey coloured shirt and dark coloured shorts. He has a black and grey coloured backpack.

Gill has been diagnosed with autism and is visually impaired. He has poor communication skills but will be able to say his name. He requires assistance to cross the road.

Police and Gill’s family have concerns for his wellbeing and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist in locating Gill to contact Police immediately on 131 444.
