Road rage incident sparks call for witnesses

ACT Policing is calling for witnesses to an alleged road rage incident on William Hovell Drive, Belconnen on Monday, 7 January 2019.

About 4.45pm, a white Honda Jazz was travelling northbound on William Hovell Drive (towards Belconnen) in the right hand overtaking lane. William Hovell Drive is an undivided major arterial road with a speed limit of 90km/h in both directions.

It is alleged a vehicle travelling behind the Honda Jazz moved onto the incorrect side of the road and deliberately sideswiped the Honda Jazz.

The vehicle is described as a dirty, light coloured, four-door sedan and was last seen heading towards Belconnen along William Hovell Drive.

Police are urging the driver of the sedan to speak with them about the alleged incident.
