Police still seeking to identify man found in Hawker

ACT Policing has now identified the man found in Hawker this morning, and located his family.

Police would like to thank the community for their assistance, and are grateful the family has now been reunited with him.

ACT Policing is still seeking to identify a man found in a serious condition in Hawker this morning (14 August 2017).

The man was located about 8:30am in Woolner Circuit and remains in hospital.

Police believe the man may live around the Hawker area, and may have been out for a walk this morning. The man had only house keys on him, no identification.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 60 to 65 years old, 180cm (5’11”) tall, of a medium build, with a short grey manicured beard and grey hair, bald on top. He was wearing a black jacket, white Ben Sherman t-shirt with the Union Jack, dark coloured pants and dark runners.

Police are seeking to identify the man and locate his family. If you recognise this description, and are unable to contact the person you believe it may be, please contact police on 131 444.
