Police seize guns drugs and ammunition

A 33-year-old man will be summonsed to appear in court after ACT Policing seized firearms, drugs and ammunition from a Macarthur residence last night (Tuesday, 11 February 2020).

About 9.10pm, police from Tuggeranong Police Station responded to reports of a disturbance in Goldsbrough Close.

After arriving at the house, police discovered firearm parts, ammunition and drug paraphernalia.

Officers subsequently searched the premises and a vehicle, and seized two firearms, ammunition, two extendable batons, two conducted energy weapons, three prohibited knives, and substances believed to be illicit drugs.

The 33-year-old man will be summonsed to court once forensic and laboratory analysis have been completed.
