Police seek witnesses or dash-cam footage of road rage incident

ACT Policing is seeking dash-cam footage or witnesses to a road rage incident that occurred on Tharwa Drive, Conder on Friday, 29 December 2017.

About 2pm, a maroon 4WD with ACT registration and towing a trailer, and a Silver Mitsubishi Lancer were involved in a minor collision on Tharwa Drive, Conder heading north.

After the collision, both vehicles stopped and the drivers got out of their vehicles. As this occurred, a man standing on the median strip approached the driver of the Silver Mitsubishi Lancer car and assaulted her.

The male is described as being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his 30s, short dark hair and had a moustache.

Police are urging anyone who may have dash-cam footage or any information about the incident that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
