Police seek witnesses to aggravated robbery in Oaks Estate

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery last Friday (23 March 2018).

About 1:50pm, a male entered the Vintage Cellars liquor store, McEwan Avenue, Oaks Estate, carrying a small black bag and a claw hammer.The male threatened staff with the hammer before fleeing the premises on foot with the cash register in the direction of Queanbeyan Train Station.

The male is described as wearing a grey coloured hoody, light coloured pants, mirrored glasses, black shoes with white soles and dark gloves.

No-one was injured during this incident.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information or dash-cam footage that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6247233. Information can be provided anonymously.
