Police seek to identify alleged offender

ACT Policing is seeking the public's assistance to identify an offender following the theft of an electric bike on Thursday, 5 July 2018.

The bike was stolen from the carpark of The ACT Rugby Union Club carpark in Turner about 2.38pm.

CCTV footage shows a white ute, possibly an older model Mazda Bravo, reverse up to where the bicycle was locked. The alleged offender then gets out of the car and cuts the lock before putting the bike in the vehicle and driving off.

The male was wearing a dark baseball cap, grey hooded jumper, blue jeans and distinctive shoes with red stripes.  

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6284059. Information can be provided anonymously.
