Police seek CCTV and dash cam footage to overnight ram raids

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash cam footage to two aggravated burglaries overnight in Hawker and Curtin.

About 3.25am today (Wednesday, 9 October 2019) police attended a business in Hawker which had significant damage.

It is alleged that a dark grey coloured Toyota Kluger was driven into the front of the store before a person entered the store through the broken glass door.

A short time later the person left empty handed in the Toyota Kluger.

About 3.30am a second aggravated burglary was reported at a Curtin business with a vehicle matching the same description.

The car later was seen driving through the intersection of Melrose Drive and Launceston Drive, Phillip and on Athllon Drive towards Sulwood Drive.

A vehicle matching the same description was located burned out in Monash around 4am.
