Police seek assistance in identifying charity box thief

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who stole a charity donation box on Friday, 30 March 2018.

About 12.30am, the man stole a ‘The World’s Greatest Shave’ donation box from a counter at the Hellenic Club in Phillip. The donation box contained a sum of cash.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, about 183cm (6’0”) tall with a slim build and a shaved haircut. He was wearing a black hoodie, blue denim jeans and grey and white shoes.

Police are urging anyone who can identify the man or may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the website.
