Police release CCTV footage to identify indecent assault offender

ACT Policing has released CCTV footage to identify a man who allegedly committed an indecent assault in the Canberra Centre on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.  

About 5.50pm, police allege a man entered the Canberra Centre on foot from Ainslie Avenue, before crossing Bunda Street.  

A short time later, the man allegedly committed an indecent act on a woman outside the hallway leading to the toilets near Bunda Street. 

The man then left the area on foot.  

Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and would like to speak to anyone who can identify the man from the CCTV footage.  

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a thin build, dark hair, and dark eyes. He was wearing a dark red jumper, black pants, black shoes, and a black and white beanie.
