Police investigating suspicious fire in Moncrieff

ACT Policing is investigating a suspicious fire which occurred in Moncrieff on Thursday, 17 May 2018.

Around 10.30pm, police were called to Slim Dusty Circuit, Moncrieff where an under-construction residence was well alight.

ACT Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the fire. Following an analysis of the scene, police are treating the fire as suspicious.

The circumstances surrounding the fire are now being investigated by ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations.

Police are seeking any information about the fire, including witnesses, CCTV or dash-cam footage of any suspicious activity in the area between 10 and 11 pm on Thursday.
