ACT Policing continues to investigate the suspicious death of a male in Rivett yesterday morning (Sunday, 17 December 2017) and the crime scene remains in place.

The victim has been identified however next of kin notifications are yet to occur and as such no further comment will be made in relation to the victim.

As part of the investigation, police are asking for anyone that was driving in the Canberra, Queanbeyan and surrounding areas with dashcam footage between the hours of 4am and 6am on Sunday, 17 December 2017 to contact police on (02) 6256 7777.

ACT Policing is investigating the suspicious death of a male in Rivett this morning (Sunday, 17 December 2017).

About 5.20am, police were called to a residence following a report of a disturbance.

A male was found, who had suffered critical injuries. Police administered first aid and contacted ACT Ambulance who attended the scene.

Unfortunately the male died at the scene.

A crime scene was established and an investigation commenced.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Police are seeking anyone with any information about suspicious activity in the vicinity of Goodenia St, Rivett between 3am and 6am to contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
