Police investigate suspicious fire in Phillip

ACT Policing is calling on information from the public in relation to a suspicious fire in Phillip. 

About 4pm on Monday, 2 October 2023, police were called to a fire at the Woden Community Services building, located on Corinna Street, Phillip.  

ACT Fire & Rescue were in attendance, and extinguished the fire, which caused damage to the building.  

Following an examination of the scene, the fire was deemed suspicious, and police are now investigating the circumstances of the incident.   

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity around Corinna Street at the time of the fire, or anyone who may have information regarding this incident.
