Police investigate incident in Conder

ACT Policing is investigating an incident that occurred in Conder this afternoon (Thursday, 2 August 2018).

About 4.55pm, ACT Policing responded to a report of a vehicle explosion on Heidelberg Street.

ACT Fire & Rescue attended and the incident was contained. ACT Ambulance Service also attended and treated a man before he was transported to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

WorkSafe attended and are also conducting an investigation into the incident.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the website.
