Police call for witnesses to Kaleen aggravated robbery

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that took place at the Kaleen Shopping Centre, on Sunday 24 February 2019.

About 5.24pm, two men entered the BWS store on Georgina Crescent, allegedly armed with weapons.

The men allegedly threatened staff, before leaving on foot with an amount of cash and cigarettes. They were last seen running across Georgina Crescent towards Staaten Crescent.

Both men are described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 183cm (6’) tall; with thin to average builds and 20-30 years of age. They were both described as wearing dark hooded tops and face coverings.

Members of the public who witnessed the incident, or may have information; CCTV; or dash cam footage of any suspicious activity near the Kaleen Shopping Centre about the time of the incident, are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
