Man to face court on drug and traffic related charges

A 30-year-old man is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 17 June 2020) on drug and traffic related charges.

Around 10.55am yesterday (Tuesday 16 June 2020), the man was arrested for driving while disqualified in Phillip.

Police conducted a search of the vehicle and located drugs, a sum of cash and a knife.   

The man will face charges including driving while disqualified, drug trafficking, possess a prohibited substance, possess property suspected to be the proceeds of crime, possess a knife in a public place and possess a drug of dependence.
