Man to face court on aggravated robbery charge

A 24-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Saturday 29 June 2019) on an aggravated robbery charge.

About 11.30pm on Monday 24 June, police will allege the man entered the BP Service Station on Ipswich Street, Fyshwick and allegedly threatened a staff member with a knife, before leaving on foot with a sum of cash.

The man will be charged with aggravated robbery and common assault.

Police will oppose bail.
