Man to face court for aggravated robbery
A 23-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Wednesday, 28 November 2018), charged with aggravated robbery.
Police attended a liquor store in Holt following the report of a robbery at about 7:45pm yesterday.
Police will allege two males entered the store and attempted to steal a carton of alcohol. The store owner stopped one of the males from exiting the store at which point the other male produced a knife.
Both males then left the store with the alcohol. Nobody was injured during this incident.
About 9:45pm, police located both males at a nearby residence.
One man has been charged with aggravated robbery and police will oppose bail. The other male will be summonsed to the ACT Childrens Court at a later date.
