Man to face court after extradition from NSW

A 29-year-old man was extradited from Goulburn, New South Wales to the ACT yesterday (Tuesday, 1 May 2018) and will face the ACT Magistrates Court today.

The man who lives in the ACT has numerous outstanding charges in the ACT including family violence, assault and traffic offences.

Investigations are ongoing and ACT Policing work with all jurisdictions for extraditions.

Acting Officer in Charge of Belconnen Police Station Brian Tadic said we work closely with all our interstate law enforcement partners to ensure that alleged offenders are brought back to the ACT and put before the court.
