Man caught driving three times over alcohol limit

A 45-year-old Macgregor man will face court at a later date following a drink driving incident in Ngunnawal.

About 5.30pm on Sunday (13 May 2018), police responded to a single vehicle collision on Wanganeen Avenue, Ngunnawal.

The driver underwent a roadside breath screening, which indicated the presence of alcohol.

The driver was taken to Gungahlin Police Station for a breath analysis, which retuned a breath alcohol level of 0.155.

As a result, the driver’s licence was suspended.

The 45-year-old will be summonsed to face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date for drink driving.
