Karabar man arrested on stolen motor vehicle charges to face court

A 32-year-old man from Karabar, a member of an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Tuesday, 5 February 2019), charged with offences arising from the theft of a motor vehicle.

About 1.15am today, police received information that a man wanted for stealing motor vehicles was staying at an executive apartment complex in Braddon.

ACT Policing Criminal Investigation Detectives attended the apartments and arrested the man.

Police will allege the man was involved in stealing a motor vehicle from a residence in Curtin on Sunday, 27 January 2019.

He has been charged with ride/drive a motor vehicle without consent, driving while suspended and theft.
