Drink driver four times the limit

A 42-year-old Bonython man was caught more than four times the legal alcohol limit on Anzac Day.

About 10.30am yesterday, ACT Policing members from Tuggeranong patrol observed a vehicle going through a red light at Drakeford Drive, Kambah.

The vehicle was stopped and the driver was taken into custody after providing a positive roadside alcohol screening.

The driver was conveyed to Tuggeranong Police Station, where he recorded a breath analysis of 0.204, more than four times the legal limit.

The driver will receive a summons to attend the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
