Disappearance and suspected murder of Megan Mulquiney

ACT Policing would like to thank the public for an outstanding response to their call for information on the disappearance of Canberran Megan Mulquiney.

On Thursday (26 July 2018), ACT Policing  issued a fresh call for information.

On the 34th anniversary of when she went missing from Woden Plaza, investigators set up at the shopping centre to take new information from the public.

Senior Constable O’Brien said the response from the public has been excellent.

“A number of people have come forward with fresh information,” he said.

A number of members of the community took the opportunity to speak to the investigators involved, providing new lines of enquiry.

ACT Policing would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank those people for having the courage to come forward.

Detective Senior Constable Beere said “Every little piece of information helps, and we call on anyone else with information speak with Police.”
