Hundreds of items believed to have been stolen have been recovered by police following the arrest of a woman in a Belconnen carpark overnight.  

Police were called to a carpark on College Street, Belconnen about 5.15pm last night (Wednesday, 3 August 2023) following the location of a white Hyundai Tuscon that had been reported stolen in July.  

Located in the Hyundai was a 38-year-old woman who was subsequently placed under arrest.  

Upon searching the vehicle, officers found hundreds of items believed to have been stolen. The woman was charged with ride/drive in a stolen motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.   

Included in the recovered items were 65 phones, six iPads and tablets, three laptops, five sets of wireless headphones, 15 items of jewellery, five gaming consoles, five cameras, a sound bar and many other items.
