Witnesses sought; indecent exposure Civic

ACT Police is seeking the public assistance in identifying a person who was involved in an act of indecency in Target, Canberra Centre on Sunday 26 April.

At about 1.00pm, police received reports of a man who was observed masturbating in the lingerie section of Target.

The person who observed the man in the act, walked to the front counter to contact security when the offender followed them.

The alleged offender exited the store and then the Canberra Centre, heading towards Cooyong Street.

The man is described as Asian in appearance, 150cm tall, black short hair and a chubby build. The man was wearing a black cap, light grey hoody jumper with ‘I love NY’ on the front and blue denim jeans.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
