Witnesses sought to aggravated robbery in Calwell

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery at the Calwell Shops on Were Street last night (Tuesday, 10 October).

About 9.35pm, two males entered Woolworths, each armed with a knife. The males approached staff at the counter and made demands for cash. The staff complied with the demands and the males fled the shopping centre on foot. 

Police attended and conducted a search of the area however the offenders were not located.

The first male is described as between 6’ to 6’3” (183cm to 190cm) tall, of slim build and was wearing a red jumper and dark pants.

The second male is described as approximately 6’ (183cm) tall, of slim build and was wearing a black jumper and blue pants.

Both males had their faces covered.
