UPDATE Police release CCTV footage to identify second offender in Civic assault

On Thursday we sought the public’s assistance to identify a second offender involved in an alleged assault outside Cube Nightclub in Civic on 23 June. A male has been arrested and charged, and will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.

ACT Policing has released CCTV footage in order to identify a second offender police believe assaulted a man in Civic early on Sunday morning (23 June, 2019).

The assault took place outside the Cube Nightclub around 4.40am.

One man has already appeared before the ACT Magistrates Court in relation to this incident.

Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or can identify the second offender.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 6409701. Information can be provided anonymously.
