UPDATE Police release CCTV footage of assault in Phillip

Earlier today we sought the public’s assistance to identify a man involved in an alleged assault at the Fenway Public House in Phillip on 22 June. A man has been arrested and charged, and will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.

ACT Policing has released CCTV in order to identify a man who allegedly assaulted another man at a Canberra bar on Saturday, 22 June 2019.

Police allege that about 11.45pm, a man has assaulted another man at the Fenway Public House in Phillip.

The alleged offender is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, about 40-years-old, with a solid build and a bald head. He was wearing a long-sleeved, grey top, black pants and black shoes.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, who may have mobile phone footage of the incident, or who may be able to identify the alleged offender from the CCTV footage.
