Two juveniles charged following Latham home invasion

Facing court

ACT Policing has charged two teenagers following a home invasion at a Latham residence on Monday.

It is alleged the offenders entered the residence armed with a weapon and threatened a resident, before fleeing on foot with stolen items.

Yesterday, police executed warrants at two homes and charged a 15-year-old male with joint commission aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon. He was bailed to appear in the ACT Children’s Court in February.

A 16-year-old male is expected to appear before the ACT Children’s Court today (Wednesday, 22 January 2020).

The 16-year-old is charged with joint commission aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon and threat to endanger the health and safety or physical wellbeing of a person.
