Three teenagers to face court for Kippax armed robbery

Three teenage boys will face the ACT Children’s Court today (Friday, 4 October 2019) following an investigation into recent armed robberies.

Police will allege the boys, one aged 14, two aged 16, committed an armed robbery at a take-away store in Kippax on the evening of Thursday, 12 September.

Yesterday, ACT Policing executed a search warrant at a residence in Holt, and during the search located a sawn-off shotgun, a machete, and items of clothing believed to be those worn by the offenders during the armed robbery. Further enquiries are being conducted and additional charges are anticipated.

The three teens were arrested and all were charged with offences relating to the joint commission of armed robbery.
