Three to face Court after attempting to flee from police

A 19-year-old Pearce man, a 25-year-old Braddon man and a 27-year-old Wanniassa man are expected to face Court this afternoon (11 August) after attempting to flee from police overnight.

About 2.13am this morning, the males attempted to flee from NSW Police in a stolen motor vehicle, entering the ACT.

The males were apprehended near Coyne Street in Macarthur and conveyed to the ACT Watch House.

The 19-year-old will face Court charged with an interstate arrest. It is expected that NSW Police will seek his extradition.

The 25-year-old will face Court charged with ride/drive motor vehicle without consent.

The 27-year-old will face Court charged with failing to comply with a direction, first instant warrant, ride/drive motor vehicle without consent and obstruct/resist territory public official.
