Theodore shooting under investigation

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Theodore last night (Saturday, 2 March 2019).

About 10:00pm, police received calls reporting that shots had been fired in the vicinity of Freda Gibson Circuit, and subsequent information that a man with a gunshot wound had sought help at a nearby location.

A man with non-life threatening injuries was treated and transported to hospital by ACT Ambulance Service.                                  

ACT Policing attended and identified several crime scenes which were later examined by AFP Forensic Services.

Police are urging anyone who saw any suspicious activity in Theodore or Calwell around 9:45-10:00pm last night, or who may have any CCTV, dash-cam footage or information that could assist police, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
