Police volunteer services return to ACT police stations

ACT Policing is excited to welcome back its volunteers to police stations with COVID-19 restrictions easing.

Volunteers in Policing play an important role in delivering services to benefit the public and foster stronger links between the police and the community but due to COVID-19 their roles were put on hold.

Justice of the Peace services resumed today (Tuesday 2 June 2020) at all ACT Police Stations.

To continue to ensure the safety of staff and the community, people handing over documents must use hand sanitiser.

The services are available from 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday at all police stations. Belconnen Police Station is also open for these services from 10.30am to 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Outside of these hours, visit the Access Canberra website for the list of ACT Justice of the Peace. Please note, Access Canberra Service Centres don’t offer Justice of the Peace services.

MEDIA NOTE: A volunteer is available today until 1pm if you need images or footage. Please call the media team for more details.
