Police seek witnesses to Hindmarsh Drive road rage attack

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash cam footage following a suspected road rage incident on Thursday, 6 December 2018.

About 2pm, a light blue older model Toyota Tarago pulled up behind a grey Mazda 323 hatchback at the westbound traffic lights at the corner of Hindmarsh Drive and the Tuggeranong Parkway.

It is alleged several passengers from the Tarago then got out of the vehicle and caused damage to the rear of the Mazda, smashing the rear window with a baseball bat or metal bar.

The offenders then got back into the Tarago before the vehicle fled the scene on the Tuggeranong Parkway southbound.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam footage of the area at the time.
