Police seek witnesses to aggravated robbery in Wanniassa

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Wanniassa early this morning (Friday, 27 December 2019).

About 1.20am, two males wearing all black, including balaclavas entered the McDonald’s restaurant in the Erindale Shopping Centre. Both of the males were armed with knives. The males threatened staff before fleeing with a sum of cash.

They were last seen running in the direction of Erindale Drive and may have left the area in a dark-coloured BMW X5.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information, dash-cam or CCTV footage that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
