Police seek witnesses to aggravated robbery in Rivett

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred at the Rivett newsagency on Sunday, 1 April 2018.

About 4.30am, four men entered the store with three carrying weapons. A sum of money and a number of items were stolen. The men left the store in a southerly direction, in a white Mitsubishi Mirage. No one was harmed during the incident.

The four men had their faces covered during the incident, are believed to be of average build and height, and may be aged in their 20s.

The first man was wearing a black heavy jacket, with a cream-grey side, hood and part of the sleeves, dark shoes.

The second man was wearing a grey hooded jumper, blue track pants, black shoes, a purple glove on his left hand.

The third man was wearing a blue hooded jumper with a pocket on the front, grey three-quarter pants, white shoes. 

The fourth man was wearing a blue-grey hooded humper with a red hood and red front pockets, cream pants, red shoes.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
