Police seek witnesses to aggravated burglaries in Ngunnawal and Forde

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses, CCTV and dash-cam footage of suspected aggravated burglaries at the Ngunnawal and Forde shops on Thursday (4 July 2019).

Police were called to the Ngunnawal shops at about 5.30am following reports that two offenders exited a stolen silver Toyota Prado and forced entry to the shop before stealing a sum of money (reference 6413609).

In a separate incident, Police were called to the Forde shops around 6.10am following reports offenders had caused significant damage and stolen a sum of money (reference 6413612).

Investigations into the incidents are continuing, and police are examining whether the two incidents are linked.

Police are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious or anyone who has dash-cam footage or CCTV of Francis Forde Boulevard between the hours of 4am and 6.20am on 4 July 2019, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
