Police release CCTV footage to identify alleged offender in Civic nightclub assault

ACT Policing has released CCTV footage of an assault that occurred at 88MPH nightclub in Civic about 2.10am on Sunday, 23 February 2020.

The video shows a man head-butting and punching another man, before leaving the nightclub in the direction of the Melbourne Building in the company of two other men.

Police are now releasing CCTV of the assault in order to identify the alleged offender who is described as being approximately 180cm (5’11”) tall. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and blue jeans at the time.

Anyone who can identify the alleged offender from the CCTV footage, or who witnessed the assault and who has not yet spoken to police, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
