Police investigating death at hotel in Griffith

ACT Policing is investigating a death that occurred after a fight at a hotel in Griffith on Sunday night (5 July 2020).

Police responded to the incident about 9.15pm, and ACT Ambulance Service paramedics were already at the scene attending to an injured 44-year-old man.

The man passed away a short time later at the scene.

A crime scene was established, and an investigation into the circumstances of the incident continued overnight. Police remained at the scene this morning.
